It's both physically available and in the app game of Digimon Crusader. The physical cards may be connected to the app's gameplay, I'm not certain.

Take it from me: It's best not to question logic in Digimon. The best explanation is that the armor is extremely hard, but flexible to a degree, but again, the best option is to just roll with it.
