Himura wrote a series of Fate doujins called Sword Dancers. He never finished them, but they pretty much originated the idea of a female character with Archer's overall design, called Archerko. It was most likely one of the origin ideas for Chloe/Kuro from Prisma Illya, and Illya looking like Archerko showed up in one the ending illustration cards in the first series, during the Archer Install episode.
But yeah, its been a long time since we've seen this character. Now I just want him to return to the doujins.
Edit: I suppose I shouldn't say the 'originated'. Genderbent Archer has been around for a while. 'Sword Dancers' and Archerko simply raised the popularity of the idea a lot.

The funny thing is that before Archerko, there was "Emilya", who is Shirou Emiya from an alternate Heaven's Feel route for whom Illya's resurrection via Third Magic went "wrong" due to her being forced to use remnants of her old body for the process, resulting in him being reincarnated in a body that is essentially identical to Illya with his old hairstyle. Rin and Sakura ultimately approved.
The title of this particular doujinshi series is "Heaven's Failure".
