Kanami strikes me as kind of like Haruhi Suzumiya; if she wants something to happen, she makes it happen. Even if doing so means Kyon/Shiro are majorly put-upon getting that done.

If Kanami wanted Coppelia to pass a Turing test; I'd imagine she'd make it happen.
