I really don't know how girls handle tight jeans. I had to wear them once and they felt like hell. Maybe it's just the gay male version that is uncomfortable but mad respects to a girl who can endure that just for fashion.
The one girl I bothered to ask said it felt creepy on her legs to wear pants that weren't fitted to the skin. I guess it's just whatever you're used to. I wear baggy cargo/carpemnter pants like a doof, but unlike girls, guys also have to worry about squishin' their jingles.
Well, I'm asian so the family jewels are... "compact" lets say. It was more uncomfortable in the way like you know when you go into a clean/decontamination room and they give you the skintight rubbery undergarments to go under the bunnysuit? Its like starcraft wings of liberty feeling of carrying a prison around you. Once the suit is zipped up you suddenly have an irrational fear of getting an itch you won't be able to scratch.
I too like to wear cargo pants as my daily attire. I wore them before 5.11 made them tactical and expensive. Most pragmatic pants ever made. The problem is unless you are in a workshop it sometimes screams "cop!" to the bad guys.
One day I was feeling creepy so I told a girl at the place I worked that I liked her thighhighs (INB4 sexual harassment claim~ not really). We got in a huge discussion about socks (and I learned way more about them than I really care to know) but one thing that was interesting is that she said they made her feel cooler. Not sure if that is due to a similar effect of the compression socks used at hospitals or if it's a psychological thing. Well whatever the case, girls definitely know how to flatter their appearances.

LAPG has a myriad of reliable 'tactical' cargo pants for quite modest prices actually. Considering how they hold up to wear and time they're a decent investment, especially if you're a cheapskate like me and prefer to have a limited wardrobe. I used to wear jeans when I'd go out, but dark grayish colored 'not-so-baggy' cargos and straight chinos give the wearer a smarter appearance imho.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll look into it. Although I long since learned to sew myself so I can get "jeans" that function like a drop leg system if I need them. Backpacks, jackets, and utility bags are also fun to work with. One second I am just your average repair/pizza/flaming-homosexual man (its west coast, one of the best covers next to Islamic follower). Next second, sting op! Best part is because they are so unconventional no one ever expects it, even if they scrutinize the stuff. Just like the spanish inquisition. >.>
