The dialog in the last panel isn't meant to be read; it's just squiggles representing words that a listener would only hear as sounds conveying mood but not exact meaning.

Well, I filled it in. So I guess I do know what he meant.

Nah, don't sweat it. I didn't quite follow the thread of conversation properly, as I arrived here after panel 4 was filled in, so I'm the one who ruined the joke.
Job well done, Ooi. A countless number of plots, be they Rom-Com, seinen, or shoujo, have been meaninglessly prolonged by important things being whispered instead of said clearly.
