I guess this is related to how people nearly always abandon the medic. It happens so often that I wish Mercy had the exclusive right of friendly fire.

Yeah. Or they run away while being on defense, get killed, and then whine they're not getting support, and after you tell them they're stupid, they whine about how toxic the community is.
