The expression in the face of reisen and teni is so adorable

Why is it they almost always show Kaguya as the one dominating their matches? From what I've seen Mokou is vastly harder to beat at danmaku so unless they don't play by spell card rules and Kaguya is secretly some kind of beast in melee (or her "power to control eternity" has some kind of haxxed combat application that she can't use under spell card rules) shouldn't Mokou be the one stomping her more often than not?

This is what I have also wondered. The official material seems to suggest they are pretty close in power (or at least they kill each other roughly as often.)

The Grimoire of Marisa says that all the danmaku we see comes from special items so we actually haven't seen her real power. (She is a lunarian so she ought to be very powerful.)

Because Mokou is more pitiable?

My guess is that Kaguya is the 'gifted genius" to Mokou's 'hard worker' status. kinda like how Reimu is to Marisa.
