Why is Miyuki Yuyuko and why is Konota Komachi?

Komachi Konata is totally wrong. Suika Konata is where it's at.
Yuyuko Miyuki is fine, though.

I can see Miyuki as Yuyuko, tho'. Air-headed, but really smart <3 (Have to kinda overlook Yuyuko's infinite appetite, tho'...)

Miyuki could also do Yukari (though Miyuki's mom Yukari looks alot like Yuyuko....)

A better choice would have been:

Konata -> Shiki
Miyuki -> Komachi
