Reizei possibly would prefer a manual with sports mode. When you get her fired up, she really knows how to drive. Especially tanks - I still remember that drift in the last episodes of the anime.

Is it better if you drive with manual transmission for drifting?

You should be more concerned about Maho driving on the road with transmission on P mode.
