Eh, my dictionary gave me 往く as being 'to die', but guess it wasn't that meaning in this case.
The Path of Kiso doesn't really flow with the Japanese there - that would be more along the lines of 木曾の往く道
It would be more like 'The Path of Kiso's Travels' or 'The Path that Kiso Follows' or something like that. 'Kiso's Path' is too informal to follow the more serious-sounding Japanese here.
...Yeah, personally? I'm starting to think that something among the lines of "The path of Kiso" is more accurate in this case.
The "Demise" in the title refers to the "old" Kiso, or the self-defeatist unconfident version that was introduced at the beginning of this comic. Finding her motivation and bettering herself was the journey, and her old self had to "die" to reach it and gain the strength and she yearned for.
To the title is still accurate, if a little on the nose. This is a good, self-contained comic. Works well as a stand-alone or as part of the mythology series that is Shino's Kuso Teitoku.

My grasp on Japanese is pretty shaky, but I think 'The Path that Kiso Follows' would be closer =3
