Old people know what a real burger looked like, not these pink-slime/meat-glue/heart-attack-ridden abominations we call burgers now.
Back in the day burgers were (usually) made from honest to God dead cows and not thick enough to serve as seat cushions. They were also not so large and more of a matter of flavor than stuffing one's face.
