Another update! Freddy added Arashi, Hagikaze, Harukaze, Kamikaze and Oyashio.

    Demundo

Have to appreciate it when artist keeps revising his work as the game updates.

    AdventZero

Time to add this to my Favorites folder. Makes keeping track of all the different DesDiv much easier.

So, about 35 trophy DDs left? knowing that we get about 2 to 3 per event, we have about 4 years before we exhausted all the IJN DDs. And that's not counting those from the Axis and the Allies side.

Please no, I can't hold all those DDs.

175 Fletchers. Gotta catch em all.

I wonder if he'll do an image for the post-1941 destroyers.

I frankly doubt they gonna do that. 6 representatives of USN is the most I can foresee in KC. Then they gonna move on other countries. Likely RN first.

See? that's why Kadokawa make money out of KC. All that money for waifu rings and dorm expansions. I wont be surprised we hit 350 by late 2017.

That depends on how long the game goes on. I personally hope to see a Saber-like set of armored carriers, but there's no reason to think that they're never going back to German or Italian ships again.

Like I say every time people complain about "more destroyers", they've pretty much mined the IJN out for everything but destroyers, (including a lot of "escort destroyers" like the Matsu-class,) submarines, and auxiliaries, but they have a nigh-inexhaustible supply of foreign ships. (I doubt they're skipping over the rest of the Kriegsmarine forever. Scharnhorst and Gneisenau are too interesting not to include, and I doubt we'll go forever without a Deutschland-class "pocket battleship".)

The USN in particular was ludicrously bloated. The Fletchers are the most famous class of USN destroyers, with 175 sisters to collect, but even that leaves out famous ships like the USS Laffey (a Sumner class, unless you mean the one that sunk, in which case a Benson). Before the Fletchers, the USN was known for its "Flush-deck destroyers", which had no raised forecastle for structural rigidity.

In order (only ships actually serving in WW2):

    Sampson class - 6 ships
    Caldwell class - 6 ships
    Wickes class - 111 ships
Clemson class - 156 ships (Last of the flush-decks.)
    Farragut class - 8 ships
    Porter class - 8 ships
    Mahan class - 18 ships
    Gridley class - 4 ships
    Bagley class - 8 ships
    Somers class - 5 ships
    Benham class - 10 ships
    Sims class - 12 ships
    Benson class - 30 ships
    Gleaves class - 66 ships
    Fletcher class - 175 ships (!!)
    Sumner class - 58 ships
    Gearing class - 98 ships
    _________________________________

    Grand total: 779 destroyers*.

This isn't even getting started on carriers, especially if you include the Casablanca-class, which were being produced at a rate of one per month, or, for that matter, the long list of cruisers. (The Oakland sub-class of the Atlanta class in particular deserves mention for being the queen of AA.) Funny what you can do with what was, at that time, half the world's GDP dedicated to a significant degree towards making war material.

NOW you may "catch 'em all".

    • Does not include escort destroyers.

i believe we still have some CVLs left and uhm, wait, i'm forgetting something. shee na wont happen.

Technically, they could add Tosa, Amagi and Ibuki since they were started as well and sometimes are comparable to Graf Zeppelin in that regard but that's a different topic.
