Indeed, there have been many rivals throughout the history of anime: Ash Ketchum x Gary Oak, Naruto x Sasuke, Yagami Light x L, Alucard x Alexander Anderson. All are nothing compared to EnterKaku.

There's something to be said about a deep-seated rivalry with a character that isn't even canon (yet).
