With that said, too much sugar truly makes a taste that is very...hard to enjoy.

That's the only panel we see her adding sugar in. That doesn't mean that she didn't add more scoops off panel.

Yup. Denaturing coffee with sugar, milk and/or cream defeats the purpose of drinking coffee -- you'd end up drinking not coffee, but coffee-flavored milk. Ask any tea aficionado how they feel about the idea of tea with milk, and their answer would be not entirely unlike my opinion of coffee with milk.
