Consider how much stress a young Japanese student might go through, this girl is helping him.

I find ironic a way to short youth is exactly that (leave school, find a job, raise children, etc.), but given we are talking about fiction I'll let it pass.

Youth is whatever you make of it. All that matters is that you don't do anything (or not do anything) you will regret. Some people get all depressed when they hit middle age on how they "missed out" on all kinds of fun stuff, but really what they actually regret is not enjoying what they already did when they were doing it.
