I used a little too much force when installing the cooling hose for the laser tube, so the acrylic at its base got a bit...

Today's survey is a snap decision:

What would trouble you if it broke?
    • Bottle
    • Window pane
    • The break-even point
    • Reimu-san's one-million-yen vase

Reader-added tags include "I screwed up", "I was surprised", and "There is no such vase".

    • Reimu-san's ¥1-million vase

    Definitely this.
Because you can't break something that didn't exist!

    Indeed.

    To quote the song:

    そんな壷あるわけ無い

Nazrin didn't stick around to help assemble it?

I totally believe Reimu could have a ¥1 "Million" vase. I also believe that there would be the most trouble for breaking it. (Yes, I am aware that the original Japanese says 100man yen, it's just that I can't unsee that translation any other way now).

It still translates to 1,000,000 (10000 x 100),so it's the same either way. But if she had one, it's either a tsukumogami that she had to exorcise (and breaking the vase in the process), cursed to cause its owner to live in poverty, or it would he doomed to he broken or lost.

Yes, I know how much 100man is. But that's not the same as a ¥1 vase, which is of a type called "million".

That's why I hyphenated it, as it just seemed more concise than "vase worth one million yen".

Actually, it's still somewhat proper English to refer to a million dollars or yen as $1-million... although I would've spelled out the "one" or written out the numbers to avoid this type of confusion.

Well if Kogasa bought it with Amazon Prime, there is a "2nd" chance.
