This is exactly me when RNG hits me. Also reminds me of a time when I couldn't open a door. Tried the handle, didn't work, tried pushing, didn't work, tried pulling, didn't work, in the end I spent 5 minutes trying to figure it out. It was a sliding door.

Thanks for explaining. But my suggestion was coming from chain of thought "nailed straw doll -> someone being cursed -> "nailed" on Parsee -> Parsee got four panels of mishap in a row".

Ya, it's not my house's door though. Also, the faucet of my bathroom had a tendency to do that. Now, think of a scenery where the power is suddenly cut out; you try to turn off the shower, but the knob falls somewhere. The cold water shower in the middle of winter pours upon your head while you are searching for the faucet [the bathroom was pretty small, so no way to search for it out of the water without pretty much leaving naked]. Then when you find it, you are kinda forced to stay under the cold shower while trying to place the goddamn thing back, which it just seems to refuse to fit in.
Rather than a door knob there was a time when an old faucet handle in my workplace snapped off and the thing started spraying water everywhere. That was not a very fun 'oh shit!' moment.
