That can't be a CV, too much clutter, and the flight deck too short. CVs also don't generally carry float planes.

Looks more like a battleship with a flight deck bolted on the front. Ise-class in BBV configuration, I think? Can't tell whether it's Ise or Hyuuga.

It's the Ise. I saw the Pixiv tag for the class, but missed the sub commentary. I'm bad about that.

There's a CV on the horizon though.

Island superstructure, definitely a CV. Oddly it's on the port side instead of starboard. IIRC only Akagi and Hiryuu had that configuration, out of all the IJN CVs.
