Nah, in Armada, Megsy's colors were always like that.
Galvatron is even purple-er, and completely loses the green, replacing it with red.

It's been well over 10 years since I watched Armada, and Galvatron, when he doesn't get a new body (Re: Every time after Gen 1) tends to have a white/grey and purple palette version of that series' Megatron. :P

Also, techinical, Galvatron is Megatron himself : )).

BTW, in Armada, the new phase of Starscream (blue and red face color) is called Thundercracker, but for some reason, he is still be called Starscream for the rest of series.

I am aware Megatron is Galvatron. With the exception of Beast-Era, he always gets upgraded into Galvatron and gets a G1-based palette scheme.
