Some of my best work has been done in a desperate state of panic

Word, presenting a paper in 30 minutes or less, bullshitting your way thru it and acing it is the best feeling ever.

Maths assignment (which was given a week before) have to submit in an hour before deadline.

Did it in college and finished it in about 30 minutes, without calculators (since my Maths doesn't allow the use of it anyways)

All sorts of impressive feats during panic period above

I wonder why I couldn't be like that. I always make way more mistakes when I panic, so I tend to get things done as soon as possible to prevent it from happening.

Same here. Although I had a job where work came at no warning. Long periods of nothing to do, then 0 to 100 instantly. Really stressful if you let it get to you, I don't know why anyone would want to procrastinate.

Hibiki is a fan of cramming, apparently.

And you know what's scary? Results from cramming apparently are of excellent quality.

My cramming was ever only passing grade. Then again, my job is pretty analytical and being able to switch up on the fly is an essential (As in 'have it or burn out in a week') skill to have.

Panicking solves nothing, though. I have no idea why the human body has an evolutionary niche for that reaction to stress.

Yup. Cramming can be done without panicking. Cramming is also an inherent skill for certain bluffing defense lawyers. Think or you're toast.

To be fair, panicking is basically your brain telling your body to go on autopilot. If you've been training your body well enough, the panicking basically ends up with you falling into your standard operating procedures.

I'd rather not cram or frantically burn through my work, but some of my better work sadly ends up being when I'm in that kind of pinch...

    Clutch play sure is scary...

If you're being irritated, then you won't feel as bad, right?
It makes me happy that you're worried about me, but...
But I won't let you work, no sir.
    Even if you say so...
I don't need advice or anything here...
