On my very first playthrough, I killed goatmom. Was so horrified, so I reset the Savefile. Second playthrough, spared goatmom. But flowey knows and I was freaked out and worried that this might change the story, so I simply erased the savefile in the harddisk. My point being, why do you need a specific program to outsmart Flowey or Chara or anyone else?

They're playing on the Steam version, maybe? IIRC from what I heard, your sin, or system_information_963, still gets uploaded to the cloud on older versions even if you disabled Steam Cloud game save synchronization, so a simple delete wouldn't work, and you would need to deliberately corrupt the files or something.
I've heard the automatic uploading of system_information_963 is disabled in a later patch. system_information_962 (Chara destroys the world) still gets uploaded though. Also, if system_information_963 was uploaded before the patch, getting rid of it on the Cloud would still require some fooling around.
No need for the Genocide remover if you give up Genocide before beating sans.
I found this on the UT Wiki, and confirmed it for myself: You can beat Sans and the run is still not considered "completed." In fact, you can keep going,
kill Asgore and Flowey,
even meet Chara,
and the run is still not "complete" unless
you give an answer to Chara's final question.
Up to that point, if you just shut the game down, there might be some consequences on the next run in the sense of people acting like you've played the game at least once, but you won't have the Genocide taint.
