    ぼくのところからは見えない入れる場所があったみたいで、ほんとに助かりました。
    気合入れてバックする気満々でしたけど、苦手なんですよね(^^;)

    Hang in There, Kogasa-san 1865

    Apparently, there was an entry point that I couldn't see from where I was, but it really saved my bacon.

    I was all set to put some spirit into it and back up, but I'm not very good at it. (^^;)

    b4trans: Well, there's always the off-road option, isn't there? ^_^;

    Reader-added tags include "Wildlife", "The main body's POV", and "I'm going to withdraw with all my spirit!"

    Today's survey is more travel traumas than troubles:

    When are you troubled?
    • Conflicting with opposing traffic on a one-lane road
    • Having to attach chains because of snow
    • Being unable to see ahead due to fog
    • Facing a dead end on a narrow road
    • When a woman raises her hand to you on a dark night in the mountains

    I drove along a road something like this last summer in Japan: barely one car wide, twisting mountain road with gravel coating and ditches all over, mountain on one side, chasm on the other. The scenery was breath-taking, though, and it was right next door to Gensoukyou, figuratively speaking.

    One day when my parents decided to drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway, it started raining, and I think we were basically inside a raincloud. We did not see any scenery.

    Terrible luck, most of the parkway really is very scenic.

    On the one-lane road to Mamizou's, Kogasa-san is clashing with opposing traffic...
    So you can go in there...
