I am honestly laughing at this, it is always fun to see 'shy' character get into very awkward or perverted situation/mindset. It always 'break' the stereotype of the character and make it feel more human and less something "you should protect/cute as hell".

Well even the most responsible character would abuse their powers every so often. There's nothing wrong with Hinata using her eyes to perv on Naruto. It's not like she's hurting anyone.
