Such a pity that despite the show's popularity and how much the fans ask for it, I doubt PASWG would get a second season since the team who was in charge for everything in the show had left Gainax to create studio Trigger, and they did well and really made a good decision for themselves, I must say. Gainax is now like, stop caring for making new animes. So yeah PASWG ended its first season with a total cliffhanger, but there will be never be anything coming after that.
