When I catch myself wondering whether the Fate anime really was that bad, I take a look at that thing.

Nasu sex scenes are awkward anyway, though the CG dragon *was* a rather stupid substitution. The anime itself was a decent adaptation of the Fate route, with the UBW and Caster scenes being a nice touch.

Bisexual Rin will live on in our hearts forever. I wonder how much use that "mana_transfer_dragon" tag will get...

So far all of the Type-Moon anime series have been epic failures (the movies are different). Remember the shitfest of Tsukihime?

It's not BAD, per se, it's just not a tenth as good as Fate deserves. If you see it without playing the game, it's -okay-. Not great, but not bad, it really only looks horrible when you compare it to what should have been, based on the game. Although yes, the dragon thing was a bit crap. I believe in Realta Nua they explain it a bit better at least, but still.

I've only seen the fate/stay night anime but I thought it was great

The dragon thing was a little random; you'd expect something fancy like Shirou and Saber doing some sparkling foreplay if it's to be seen on the tube.

They do far FAR more with other anime (Kanokon?) and they don't even have eroge origins. -_-;

I did not like the whole Casterpart/Sakura (as a DarkSakura-fan I hate it, actually), but otherwise the Anime was quite decent. Dragon or not, this part wasnt that important to me anyways.
