I just found out about this and I'm loving the designs on the girls. A lot of variety and neat outfits, It's also cool how they got ships from all over the place and not just a crap load from the same few places.
I have to say, I like this one more than the Pacific one. While November is the better artist, his designs really lacks the "ship" in shipgirls. I think this artist better incorporated aesthetics of the real USS Enterprise in the design.
What looks the same? This and the Pacific version? I'm not really seeing it. The Pacific one is red-eyed and her clothes are a different colour.

I think that's intentional. I recall Morgane going on about how Pacific is trying to focus on the human rather than the weapon, the musume half of mecha musume. So a design with less prominent rigging would reflect that.
