Of course, because it's the final form of the "dark" Kasen!
At least, I think she is going to be like this.

To begin with, at first I was thinking of drawing half-zombie and half-cyborg girl.
But it developed into something more sophisticated and grotesque, thus "Kasen's corpse" began to transform into a demon. She lacks both hands now, they are replaced with magical spheres. To be honest, I really wanted to do it from the very beginning.
Illusions are a very important part of this work. It may look like she has legs, but in fact she does not.
And no, the face is not scarred, It's just a mask.

Speaking about horns, she's often portrayed with them and most likely, she's not just a usual hermit, so I thought — Why not?

"Flower" wings: most would think that they would better fit Lady Yuuka Kazami, but Kasen is a "flowery" hermit,
so there is no reason not to draw her like this.

There are some runes on the background, spiral-like galaxies and something like a "throne"

Alternate colour schemes are always welcome. And in my opinion — She looks great with blue hair.

No, It's not really schizophrenia, but something related with hallucinations. The plot is that Kasen suffers from a mental illness. She truly believes, that she can switch between 2 worlds. This doesn't stay hidden
forever and eventually she got into a hospital, thus losing any connection with Gensokyou.
And about the musical part: it's a crossover between Kasen's theme and "Linkin Park — Papercut" (This is their best song, I swear). The music switches sort of abruptly, depicting the switching between the worlds.
