It would be nice for it also to be more of a psychological horror rather than a jumpscare. Heck, if the entire game was mute, it could actually make it creepier, or super creepy when sound finally is used. Like the game has been silent, and suddenly your speakers start giving off the sound of footsteps but you never see anything.

I'd personally be most scared of coming across his Doremy. That fucker's the scariest of his Touhou monsterizations yet. You can practically hear the booming of her footsteps.
