I hope you're not talking about "me" having a problem so much as the geometry of the lake's ripples.
Given the drawing's perspective, the lake's ripples would not be circular; being very elliptical instead; so having a natural reflection and circular ripple lines makes no sense geometrically, unless I am missing something.

It's the ripples that are wrong. They're impossible looking at the horizon like that.
