Well that's terrible.

I think Junko became one of the most sad character of the touhou franchise, with Koishi and maybe byakuren. It is really astonishing that they are alway smiling. These char add some depth to the franchise.

The pain of losing her child would explain why she became so dead set and focused on just getting revenge on Chang'e; it's so that she could forget her grief at loosing her family...

Terrifying in despair.
