NPC character from Legend of Sword and Fairy/ Chinese Paladin , a very old school type of rpg but extremely famous among Chinese and Asian region .This game was released in DOS version many years ago, until now already at it's sixth installation . This artwork was commissioned by a buddy from Taiwan which the game was also originated from there. Cai Yi is a butterfly spirit. She was saved by Liu Jinyuan after getting caught in Venomous Lady's (a spider spirit) web, and is so grateful to him that she transforms into a woman and marries him to take care of him after he was poisoned by Venomous Lady. She eventually sacrifices all the powers she acquired from 1,000 years of cultivation to extend Liu's lifespan by another 10 years, and transforms back into a butterfly as a result.
