It's a trick with transparency that lets it happen (clicking on the image on tumblr takes you to where it's on a grey background, revealing the surprise), so here you'd just click-and-drag to see for yourself.

Though doing it on tumblr does at least let you see the surprise at a better size.

Actually, it looks to me like the surprise image on Tumblr is noticeably longer to include the surprise. The version uploaded here doesn't appear to include the space in which the surprise is shown.

Did you remember to click "view original"?

Or you can save it and view it with a simple windows viewer which has somewhat of a blue-ish background.

the dark css style that I use makes it plainly obvious
