...I wouldn't compare laying beside someone in a kotatsu as they're wearing winter clothes to walking in on a cheater going at it. If that were the case I'd probably be dead by now with the number of girls that have fallen asleep in my lap (including once a train of six plus one guy!).

Even then, Haruna's much more docile than that in Campus Life works. She'll certainly probably overreact because :funny:, but if anything I'd expect her to run away in tears with her wrists up by her shoulders more than to get murderous and it still wouldn't take much explaining to calm her down. It'd be just like the universe to screw me over with the next page out of spite, but still; I'd rather see her just glomp the other side and tug-of-war.

She's more likely to overreact than join them, though. She's not nearly that much of a doormat or likely to accept a situation like that.

I'd expect to go home instead. Not join in. Kongou might, but not Haruna.

So I wouldn't encourage her to jump in. Go away without kicking everything on the room over, but not jump in. Maybe cry it out somewhere after leaving a note.

It's more akin to "your sister-in-law you're always flirting with is cuddling with your brother."

Even throwing aside that Hibiki would do that by your own words, Kitakami basically said she'd be totally fine with a threeway relation between her, Ooi, and the Admiral, and Hiei's repeatedly shown she's totally fine with her sisters or anyone else putting romantic advances on the Admiral. Not to mention the fact the admiral throws rings around like party favors...

Say whatever about Haruna's reaction, but if she's expecting monogamy, here, she's already come face-to-face with a mountain of contradictory evidence.

It's okay Haruna.. They kinda resemble a sibling rather than a lover, right..? Though proximity will naturally evolve along time into affection and love..

In my opinion, that sort of familiarity they have is already a natural evolution of a loving marriage. Unlike every other girl, Hiei is perfectly comfortable in her own skin around him, she puts up no fronts or facades because she isn't self-conscious around him, and in that regard I'd say she is actually far ahead of the other girls.

Every other girl, Haruna especially, seems insecure and jittery around him, which is definitely cute but not conducive to an actual healthy relationship. The way the Admiral treats Hiei is also refreshing, he handles most of the other girls with kid gloves but seems to actually be himself with Hiei.

Of course this all hinges on if they actually have non-platonic feelings for each other which there is no solid evidence of.
