Looking at the artist's history, I hope this is the Yorktown redesign for Pacific.

EDIT: Squinting my eyes, that's McCampbell's Minsi III. So, guessing this Wo-class is Essex CV-9.

Uh, these look to be all P-51 Mustangs.....and all of McCampbell's Minsi's (I, II and III) were Hellcats.

One of the planes says "Minsi III" on the side in yellow. Didn't know about that part, though. I can't identify planes by appearance unless it's an A-10.

They're P-51D Mustangs. In real life a few of them were converted for Carrier operations for testing purposes. Nothing more came out of it.

As for the aircraft behind the P-51's the engine and cowling appear to be that of a SB2C Helldiver.

Its still the Enterprise/Yorktown class
