    Yep, looks like one.

All I can say is 'wow, she's absolutely stunning'... and that she's probably not wearing anything underneath that. ;)

Please clean up my translation. I know at least some of the historical information is inaccurate (24th Air Flotilla was mostly land based and reported to the 4th Fleet, and also did not include Shoho, Shoukaku or Zuikaku) but I don't have time to fact check or translate fully.

    Ignore the strikeouts, resolved below.

I take my research quite seriously, so apologies if this comes across as terse (I really don't mean it as such, and it's super hard to convey tone through text!). I've read your comment very carefully and could not find the historical inaccuracies you speak of. If you could clarify for me what you mean, that would be helpful.

Nowhere in my text did it state the 24th Air included Shoho, Shokaku, or Zuikaku, nor was there there any mention of the 4th fleet. I did not write about Shoho in Lexington's profile. The only references to Shokaku and Zuikaku are in the context of Coral Sea's influence on Japanese strategy, two paragraphs later.

The text simply states that her air groups engaged the 24th Air and gained valuable experience, leading into a general comment that these encounters provided a basis for further developments in US tactics.

As it stands, USS Lexington engaged the 24th Air Flotilla prior to Coral Sea. First-hand accounts from individuals such as Lt. Gayler note rather explicitly that they were encountering new Japanese planes (and found that they blew up rather easily), and the battle on the 20th was what got O'Hare his MoH.

Oh, misread the timing on the "during 1942 [etc. etc.]" section then, I was under the impression that the last sentence in the paragraph lead into the Coral Sea battle which was described more fully in the next paragraph. I forgot about the early carrier raids that the Lex did, my bad.

If I may ask, where did you get information on Lex from? I have books on Hornet, Enterprise, Maury and such, but there's hardly any one-stop books for the Lexington class.

Eh... blue hair. the design mostly great but blue hair? I don't know.. just didn't met my criteria of what I expected of What kanmusu version of Lexington look like.

I still prefer to say that the Warship Girl's Depiction of Lexington is better (gray-ish hair ftw). Anyway, it's the matter of taste. don't take it personally.

    EDIT: Words.

I kind of get the feeling that Jeanex jumped a bit too far ahead in American Guns. Maybe get a double-barreled shotgun for the Lexis and Ranger and Lever-Actions for the Yorktowns and Wasp while Enterprise starts using a Mare's Leg later on (only proper for the best gol-dang cowgirl in the Pacific) and Hornet can occasionally be seen with a trapdoor single-shot rifle (possibly with a scope). Only when we get to the Essex classes do I feel that bolt-actions would be proper.

EDIT: Although maybe just get Lever-actions for all pre-war carriers since all the Japanese pre-war carriers have the same kind of bow, except Houshou.

That would make the most sense, since she is a U.S. ship. And the more I think about it, the more I like the idea of the U.S. ships using rifles instead of bows and arrows.

Lexington would be sunk during the first aircraft carrier vs. aircraft carrier battle to ever take place (the Battle of the Coral Sea). Hit by two torpedoes, she lost both her elevators and
I'm sorry if I'm not able to explain the multiple utilities of my gear, but I would guess that it is connected to her in the history. Sir, I'm sure you are aware that Lexington was retrofitted from a battle cruiser, which explained the 8-inch guns she carried until being removed before the Coral Sea Battle in 1942. I would address myself as a woman willing to bet, sir, since I believe God had the same opinion when He created me. My armor, shielding and other defending parameters are one level above others like Enterprise. Since I do possess abilities outside the conventional aircraft carriers, I hope you would give them a thought. Also, I believe you have read all about my other data on the related documents, so I won't bother you further. If there are no other questions I need to answer, I wish to be brought to the aircraft carrier division ASAP. My pilot fairies prefer to maintain first-grade combat readiness.
STEC Notes: Historically, the Lexington is the United States' first true aircraft carrier, converted from a battlecruiser as a result of the Washington Naval Treaty. Despite knowing the imperfections in her design, the Americans elected to convert her on the basis of her speed, hangar capacity and construction progress due to the limitations on capital ship construction imposed by the treaty. After her launch, her crew would conduct exercises, formulate theories and lay the groundwork for future carrier operations. During the attack on Pearl Harbour, the Lexington was delivering aircraft to Midway Island and escaped the fate that befell Battleship Row. By the time she engaged the Japanese 24th air flotilla, she carried an experienced air group, which had laid the foundations on which future American pilots would build their victories. You may be interested in the Lexington class's participation in Fleet Problem 13 and 14.
Please inform OpNav that Lexington has reached designated location.
Good day, commander. I hope I could explain the guns I'm carrying. These are not for decoration, and I myself believe they could carry out defensive duties. That's right, I'm capable of fighting back in mid and close-range engagements. But concerning my position as an aircraft carrier, I think I should engage enemies with other carrier ship girls from extensive long range.
