    仕事も詰まってたんで、痛くないならいいやと思ってたら甘かったですね。

    Hang in There, Kogasa-san 1740

I was naive to think, "My work schedule's packed, so as long as I don't hurt, I'm good."

Reader-added tags include "'Packed' in two senses, Kogasa-san", "The existence of the System is in danger", and "Dammit, that hurts!"

Oh, how it pains me to do this:

    What pain can you endure?
    • Stomach pain from overeating
    • Little toe pain from stubbing it on a corner of the dresser
    • Heartache from being dumped by a lover
    • The pain of original art data vanishing right before a deadline
    • The pain of sinking all my money into the FX

Well, human body works in strange ways, sometimes the source of symptoms isn't on the part where the symptoms shows up.

I've been through this for so many times I have cracked toenails. Even if it still hurts when it happens, I've become used to it.

I had that pain few times. Quick fix for me was highly alkaline mineral water (those very salty types).
One time local doctor said "You have indication of this thing in very early stage. You should drink alkaline water". It still occur in rare cases, but thankfully I like this water to drink it occasionally.

I suffered a needle infiltration at dialysis yesterday. This is what my arm looked like a few hours ago: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/12368207/Photo%20Sep%2006%2C%208%2013%2006%20AM.jpg

Basically, they made a hole in my vein that pumped my arm full of blood. The bruise is where my body has started reclaiming the "lost" blood. It'll eventually run all the way from my armpit to my elbow. It'll take weeks to heal completely. If it hasn't healed by tomorrow afternoon (or Tuesday morning at the latest), then I just have to bear it because we have to stab it again anyway.

That does not look like fun at all. Hope things get better for you, Suzuran Majere.

This is the most pain I've ever been through. Some of my friends are still getting this even now. One reason why I stick to XP - they're stable enough without the bells and whistles, less chance of catastrophic hiccups.

Add to that the fact the artwork need to be finished for the visual judging in the final project and printed before tomorrow noon, and it's 6 PM when it all started.. I'm lucky to have one of my circle member helped me made 3 print ads in illustration style.. To hell with the grade, i'm just glad it got displayed safely before the judging..

Ignoring early symptoms like this is exactly what sends people to ER... I hope Mizuki-san takes better care of his health from now on.

Dialysis? Woah, that seems like some serious shit, get well soon!

As for that bruise, the closest thing I've ever had to that was an IV drip that went wrong during my stay in hospital. They didn't make a hole, but rather simply missed the vein. By time I noticed that something went wrong, I've had a thumb-sized bubble of skin filled with IV liquid on my arm. This resulted in similar bruise, albeit much smaller, but then next day they did it AGAIN. I think the nurse learned a couple of new profanities that day :3

But on the bright side, since you didn't really hit that place on your arm, it looks horrible but shouldn't hurt that much except the place where needle went in initially. Just make them puncture it higher or lower next time, or perhaps switch to the other hand for time being? Also, on another plus-side, if you make it back one-piece, you'll stop caring about shots, IVs etc altogether for the rest of your life, as well as other smaller pains like small cuts. I, personally, stopped giving a damn after I got 20-something different injections, including to eyelids, in 3 days, because I had to stay for three weeks, lol. It was like 5 years ago and I still don't give a damn about shots, so consider this a dungeon quest with DEF boost as reward :3

Anatomically speaking, isn't it make sense the pain will be located in the back because kidney and urinary tract run through there?

    What could it have been?
    The next day...
    It's stopped hurting...
    Several days later...
    Stones!?
Judging from looking at your blood tests, you've got urinary tract stones.
    I'll provide you some painkillers.
Shouldn't you have gone to the hospital?
    Hfffff!
    Hfffff!
    Go to the hospital!!
That sort of thing does happen.
    Takka Tak
So it's UT stones, even though my back hurts?
