Hmm, some of those shadows seem reversed. The light areas shouldn't have the shape of the leaves casting the shadows. The only other explanation that comes to mind is that the woman somehow got some weird tan lines by falling asleep in the sun and having some palm fronds end up on top of her, but that shouldn't affect the hair!
