Man, I always hated that those stamps just washed right off. Made me worry that I would be kicked out of wherever I was.

Do you mean the "no bump" checkbox when you post a comment? Usually posting a comment "bumps" the post you commented on to the top of the comments page, but if you check "no bump," then it won't. Keeping a post from bumping is useful for comments that aren't necessarily meant to start a discussion.
