... yyyyyyeah, no. This comic was already lookin' kinda iffy, I'm not havin' Kaga being horrible to Akagi. Particularly by way of the tired old "har har Akagi's such a pig" joke. Mr. Sulu, ahead nope factor five.

Then you realized that Kaga is the actual bauxite glutton, since Kaga, with her higher aircraft capacity, stands to lose the highest number of aircraft from a bad run. Replenishing all that lost aircraft is a larger hit on the bauxite reserve than Akagi would require. However, they rarely lose all their planes anyway unless it's due to the Admiral's negligence.

As I heard, there was a bug where Akagi would eat dry the bauxite reserve in no time back when the game is still new. Not many experienced it aside from those who were admirals back then too, but that famed her. And I mean that seri-freaking-ously famed her as the bauxite glutton/queen.

If I remember correctly, it was 200 baux per refill, regardless of how many planes were lost. That, along with her being a quest reward very early on, meant that she's the immediate target for bauxite-binging jokes.
