Kind of random, but the "suu" sound effect is them blowing on the noodles to cool them, not slurping the noodles up. If you look, you'll see that the noodles are still on the chopsticks, not actively being devoured, as is the fate of all noodles.

Debatable. In a house holding 1st and 5th CarDiv, the noodles exist in a state of being devoured and not being devoured until they are devoured. As does all food that crosses the threshold.
