no idea what that headband is called. Any help?

I assume it's a hachimaki but I don't think I've ever gotten the name for them.

I'm going to guess it's a straw rope headband, worn similar to this

I thought there was a different name for it since I've always seen people wear it during events like Taiko drums and other festivals, rather than whatever Shimenawas are used for.

After looking up headwear, I can confirm it is a type of hachimaki- they can either be worn flat or rolled.

It's called ねじりはちまき Nejiri hachimaki, that means Twisted hachimaki.
