Or for getting around the battlefield and hucking Sub-Weapons everywhere before running off again. Burst Bombs for EVERYBODY!
Strangely, it doesn't sound terribly bad so long as the ink consumption of the Main Weapon function is low. (Though, of course, there's also the idea of it being like a Brush and flinging ink forward when you tap the button rather than holding it, so it could also possibly do that as a longer-range but lower-power version of that.) Only hiccup would be doing it through enemy ink, unless it also had some function to let you avoid that ol' slosh (though the idea of it being able to let you run ludicrous-speed on only uncovered or allied turf WOULD be an interesting one, to be sure.)
All in all . . . comical idea, yeah, but one they could potentially make work.
