Part of my proposed alt design series for Vega - this one with a more "casual attire" focus.  Well, probably casual for him... (can't see him in a t-shirt with jeans... really can't XD ) since he's arrogant and all about looks, he'd be wanting to look his aristocratic best at all times if he's not in his fighting/matador gear when he steps out: so he's a rich guy and he has the bod to rock a crisp, tailored suit; partially unbuttoned shirt for a less formal look (and a glimpse of his tat to relate back to his original design); wears a watch that pretty much says "this alone costs more than your car" and lastly, a pair of Ray-Ban in place of his mask - a pretty extreme interpretation of that major item, but I think it works... The thing with Vega is that he's a sexy and dangerous type character and always has to look the part - as usual, I try to convey a lot of that not only with the clothing, but also through the eyes in a more subtle way.. tried to make them look piercing as well as beautiful, like they'd cut you up just as much as his blades XD

Really enjoyed doing this piece.  It looks simple, but the key is in the detailing - I loooove clothing with clean, crisp lines - something very designy and smart about them (and no where to hide if you get it wrong lol)  I even attempted to get the ironed folds down the front of his trousers if you can see them XP  And there's just something about men in suits... rrrsssss... Even managed to get the husband to pose for me when he came back from work in his suit.  He was like "I better not be helping you to draw Vega again.  I hate that guy!" looooool :D (Big Grin)
