    おぜうさま!「土用」です!「土用」の丑の日です!!

    Dog Days of Summer

Mistress! It refers to the Dog Star! It refers to Sirius! Originally correcting Remilia's mistaking 土用 for 土曜 , both pronounced "doyō".

Thankfully, an equivalent idiom exists, though it doesn't retain the original pun.

...but there aren't any dogs around! Originally punning "doyō no ushi no hi" ("Day of the Ox in midsummer", the equivalent to "dog days of summer") with "Doyōbi ("Saturday"). Remilia's saying "...but it's only Friday!"
They say it's the "dog days of summer"...
