does tatsuki become a soul reaper/was she already one/or is this just the artist's imagination at work?

She technically has all the prerequisites to become a soul reaper, it's just a matter of her "dieing" and going to soul society. As far as I know the only reason Ichigo got to skip the whole dieing part is because his father was a soul reaper and apparently the abilities are hereditary.
