At least they're going away from Texas. Texas is gonna end up being an even more hellish version of Ironbottom Sound.
Just looked at a map of Texas, looks like the abyssal boss (I don't know the Kan-colle specific terminology) is from specifically from El Paso. I can't quite place the other points are. I want to say the far northeast point is Chicago or Detroit, but no sign of lake Michigan, which one would think would be included in a naval game. So that one looks to be either in Minnesota, a Dakota, or somewhere in Canada.
Edit: Based on the later entries in the pool, I'm guessing that the southwestern point is San Francisco, and the point due north of the boss is Los Vegas. And I don't know where that pointy building is from. But yeah, maps (even ignoring the distortions on global maps) in manga are hard to read given the amount of effort it'd take to draw them accurately.
But it's not 2016 yet. Even if he does become supreme ruler of the United Republic States of Commerica it will at least take a few years before he can get rid of all those he deem unworthy to live and Mexico....wait, does this mean this takes place in the future?!?
