Oda? You mean One Piece? I highly disagree with that, all his characters not only are not stereotypical bishounen and generic styled, but they all have uniquely different body types as well.

Now Akira Toriyama and Kubo Tite, those guys I can agree with. Akira suffered heavily from same body as well.

I think he's referring to the female characters, which tend to only come in two varieties: supermodel (Nami, Vivi, etc.) and gonk (Mermaid conductor).

The Amazon Lilies are the notable exception to this, with a wide variety of faces and body types.

Nami's design (particularly the facial structure) also started to become more unique as time went on.

if any DDs should be that in such number wise numbers it should be Yukikaze or Hibiki/Verniy as they are the longest lasting IJN ships since they lasted the longest out of the surviving ex-IJN ships as all were scrapped or otherwise disposed of within 5 years of surrender of japan. while Hibiki/Verniy lasted til 1958 and Yukikaze lasted until her scrapping in the 1970s so both have the time needed for getting the numbers.
