I love how because of this one attack in the fighting games, the fandom interpreted it as her having an interest in pandas, and have it be part of her character. Even though panda cars are just a popular thing in Japan, being comparable to those coin-operated kiddie rides you used to see near the entrances of stores (except with these, you can actually drive).

And what's even better, that became canon. Chapter 6 of Lotus Eaters has this random picture at the end of Sumireko in her room, and there's a panda plushie on her shelf.

This fandom works in bizarre ways sometimes.
