Spinning on her heel as she tipped over hardly seems implausible.
(Incidentally, I've long suspected that "if you think too hard, you lose" always made more sense if it was implicitly your sanity that you'd lose. Now there's a lovely thought - puchis are actually Lovecraftian horrors that we imagine as cute fluffy little girl things as we desperately cling to the illusion that the universe makes sense...)

Wait, how did she go from falling backwards to falling forwards?
Oh wait, nevermind:
If you think too hard, you lose!
This doesn't take any thought, really...
If you've ever seen anyone skydive, you'd know it's trivially easy to reorient your direction mid-flight. You can control how you are falling through Newton's Second Law and using your arms or legs as a counterbalance. People instinctively will whip their bodies around to try to land feet-first or hands-first if they have enough airtime to do so.
In fact, in a lot of crime drama shows, they tend to use the fact that someone fell head-first or something to prove they were dead before they fell, since a living person will land hands-out and legs-down, breaking hand and leg bones, rather than the skull.

Broom to rescue please!
Nah, that wouldn't create any particular amusing drama. (Unless she ran away with the broom and left Teetoku without it...) It'll have to be someone that would be funny if BWO were to fall in love with that character. (Teito Kuu or Kitakami or Fusou for "love triangle" antics, or maybe Nagamon for "do not want Puchi" antics.)
