Oi, Nagato. As much as how ridiculously epic using the anchor as a handbrake to insta-show your broadside in the film, I don't think you or your battleship colleagues can do that.

Keep in mind that Mighty Mo is an Iowa class,probably the fastest BB class ever. Kancolle wise, the only ones that can perform that move is the Kongou sisters,Bismarck,Littorio and Roma.

Irrelevant for ship girls anyway. With their gun arrangement, going "broadside" will give the opposite effect, obstructing some guns from firing.

The only problem they have by going straight will probably be those jumping frogs' hostile-target identifier system.

But they can still throw the anchor at the enemy :)

Club haulin' don't work (properly) on post-dreadnaught ships, Nagato...

You're more likely to wreck your winches and deck than make a successful club-haul drift like that.

It's an age of sail move , try that with any WW2 BB and you'll just tear off the anchor.

... why do I get this feeling that Fuso can do that (she was built as a dread before renovation, right?) although there's a chance her pagoda mast will force the ship to capsize?
